The objectives of this subject are to give students a conceptual understanding of evolutionary processes, to detail the diversity of the vertebrate fauna of the Top End, to deal with issues in wildlife management, and to provide hands-on experience with field techniques and the scientific process from the design of experiments to the writing of manuscripts.
