The Great Australian Bushwalk - Join the Fun!

How often can you have fun with friends and pay absolutely nothing? The Great Australian Bushwalk is a FREE event scheduled for Sunday 24th October, 2004. It will be the first national event dedicated to bushwalking and is set to be a fantastic day filled with bushwalking adventures, with more than 60 bushwalks to be held around the country.
Begun by the National Parks Association of NSW, this event will promote physical fitness, an awareness of the environment and a sense of community throughout Australia.

The National Parks Association of NSW is a non-profit, non-government conservation group, and also the largest bushwalking group in Australia. They offer about 600 bushwalks every year, so there is bound to be something for everyone!
