September 2005
Biolsoc's Cocktail Party will be held on Thursday the 22nd of September at Hermanns Bar (ground floor Wentworth) from 6pm to 10pm. Please see BiolSoc executive members to sign up for your tickets. Some tickets can be purchased at the door on the evening.
Information and interest registration for the 2006 BiolSoc field trip will be available at the cocktail party.

BiolSoc Aussie Sausage Sizzle:
Come celebrate Australian Marsupial diversity by eating them!
Wednesday, 4th of May at 1PM on the botany lawns. There will be Kangaroo sausages as well as regular snags and vege paties for sale as well as refreshments. The new BIOLSOC executive will be there so come along and say g'day. The 2005 executive is planning some exciting events for this year so come along and share your ideas.
We will also be issuing membership cards to all members who joined this year. New members are also able to join up at the BBQ for those who missed O-week.
SciSoc Trivia Night:
BiolSoc members are invited to participate in the SciSoc Trivia night. A BiolSoc table is availiable for members. If you are interested please be quick as places are filling up quickly. Details of the trivia night are as follows:
When: Wednesday 11th May (Week 9) 7pm
Where: The Grandstand (bottom of Physics Rd, in front of oval 1)
Tickets: $10 (union) includes pizza and 2 drinks (beer/ soft drink)
Can buy individual tickets OR tables of up to 10 are welcome.
Tickets are selling at: Week 7 SciSoc BBQ and Week 8: Mon Fri 11am-2pm outside Carslaw
There are lots of great prizes and fun to be had on the night, BiolSoc and SciSoc together encourage you all to attend as SciSoc Trivia nights are always great fun, and it's a good way to mingle with other science students and relax during the middle of a busy uni semester!

Information on the BiolSoc Heron Island Field Trip is available to BiolSoc Members. The trip will take place on the 1st to the 7th of February 2005. Please email BiolSoc if you are interested.
BiolSoc will be involved in the Great Australian Bushwalk on the 24th of October. Please note that registration is required.
