The School of Biological Sciences has a large and active group focusing on the evolutionary ecology of reptiles. The group is headed by Rick Shine. Rick holds a personal chair in evolutionary biology and a Federation Fellowship from the Australian Research Council. He generally has about six graduate students, six or eight post-docs and four research assistants.
