Current Research

I am interested in the molecular basis of evolution and speciation in organisms. In particular, the phylogenetic relationships linked to their distribution, adaptation to the environment, and the modification of genetic diversity, morphological, ecological, and behavioural characters. I am also interested in population biology and in conservation genetics.

The major research topic of my current position involves molecular genetic research on the evolution of sexual competition and multipaternity rate within snake populations, as well as the study of sex-biased dispersion.
