Research Interests:
Population ecology and insect pest mangement with application of remote sensing, geographical information system. At present I‘m mainly responsible for projects as follows:
1) Spatio-temporal dynamics of grasshoppers populations and outbreak mechanism in Xinjiang’ funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (30460028);
2) Studies on migratory mechanism and plague forecast of Locusta migratoria migratoria between Xinjiang of China and Kazakhstan’ funded by Scientific Research Program of the Ministry of Education of China (206165);
3) Research on population dynamics of grasshoppers in Xinjiang’ funded by Scientific Research Program of the Higher Education Institution of Xinjiang (XJEDU2005I23)
