May 29, 2009 - Following their graduation ceremony on Friday, 29 May, 2009, biology graduates were invited for morning tea in the School of Biological Sciences. The Academic Procession at the graduation was well supported by Biological Science staff, and Professor Mike Thompson gave the Occasional Address where he discussed his career and a passion for lizards. May 22, 2009 - The School of Biological Sciences awards a number of prizes to outstanding students throughout the undergraduate and postgraduate years. Rather than an anonymous letter and prize arriving in the mail, this year the Head of School held a prize-giving ceremony to which all prize-winners and their families and friends were invited.
