Welcome to the Hochuli Lab

Dieter Hochuli

Our research focuses on the ecology of terrestrial arthropods, revolving around three central themes. We use experimental and survey-based approaches to investigate these three areas of interest; insect-plant interactions, community ecology and conservation biology. We're interested in ultimately scaling responses from individuals to landscapes in a range of systems. This means we approach our questions using bottom-up and top-down approaches, integrating these where possible.

We also work closely with several research groups here at Sydney; APIG, the animal plant interactions research group and the behavioural ecology group.
